Dubai Marina is an area situated in the heart of what is now known as “new Dubai”. Dubai Marina is a  canal city along a stretch of the Persian Gulf shoreline.

It is a man-created marina. The developers brought the Persian Gulf’s waters into the site of the Dubai Marina, thus creating a new waterfront. It has been created by the real estate development company Emaar Properties of the United Arab Emirates and the design was responsibility of HOK Canada
