Dubai Palm

The Dubai Palm is one of the most impressive property developments of Dubai and is the flagship development extending the Dubai coastline.  The Palm Jumeriah is the original palm and is one of a trilogy along with the Palm Jebel Ali and the Palm Deira that is scheduled to be complete within the next decade.  Currently the Palm Jumeirah houses many property owners of apartments, villas and town homes.  More residents will begin moving in as the final hotels and infrastructure are completed.

The Dubai Palm encompasses an area of 5 square kilometers.  It is comprised of a trunk, a crown with 17 fronds, and a crescent-shaped island surrounding it and acting as a breakwater.  The Palm project has added an additional 78 kilometers to the Dubai coastline.  The Palm Jebel Ali is expected to add even more than this, considering it is 50% larger than the Dubai Palm.  The opportunity for investors to own a part of this prime development has resulted in very high demand for all the varied projects that comprise the entire Palm development project.

The Palm Jumeirah has more than 4,000 residences that consist of apartments, town homes and luxury villas all stretched out across the manmade beachfront.  The Dubai Palm offers two types of villas: signature villas and garden villas.  Garden villas offer owners great luxury, unique space and design and private pools.  Signature villas, the crown jewels of the project, offer spacious and luxurious interiors all suited to a buyer’s individual needs, beautiful landscaped gardens, private pools and even a private beachfront.  The town homes are quite spacious and roomy enough for small families.

The Dubai Palm offers a wide array of apartments from Nakheel, Atlantis, and other private developers.  These include studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments, as well as a few penthouses.  All of the apartments offer breathtaking views of lush, beautiful landscaped gardens or the Arabian Sea.

The Dubai Palm will offer a wide array of leisure facilities for its residents, as well as many necessary amenities including, a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and shops.  There will be many hotels along the crescent-shaped shoreline.   They will link to the mainland by way of an underwater tunnel.  Quite a few of the hotels are almost complete and are due to open at the end of the year that will offer even more residential and recreational opportunities in the Palm development.
