Dubai Waterfront

The Dubai Waterfront represents yet another amazing property development project from Nakheel properties.  Once again Nakheel is set to create yet another unique and distinct piece of property that will help to transform Dubai’s coastline and deliver even more property options for the Emirate.  The aim of the Dubai Waterfront project is help to promote long-term growth and bring increased investment to the region.  The Dubai Waterfront, being constructed on the western shoreline of Dubai, will be situated in between Dubai and Abu Dhabi and just a short distance from the Airport, Port and Jebel Ali Free Zone.  This prime location offers the Dubai Waterfront project unsurpassed transport links that will facilitate its role in what is predicted to be both an international as well as regional commercial and residential hot spot.

Dubai Waterfront will offer both industrial and commercial areas, as well as a wide variety of residential freehold properties and is expected to house more than 1.5 million residents.  Once the project is complete the Dubai Waterfront development will extend the Dubai coastline more than 12 times or around 490 miles.  It will be built in a crescent shape around the Palm Jebel Ali and consist of 10 main zones: Downtown, The Exchange, Boulevard, The Peninsula, Uptown, The Palm Boulevard, Madinat Al Arab, Courniche, The Riviera and Al Ras.

There will be over one hundred waterfront developments that will include over two hundred and fifty communities.  The goal is for the Dubai Waterfront development to become Dubai’s premiere luxury housing area for both villas and apartments.  Nakheel has made a big effort to reduce the environmental impact of the project, with energy and water conservation being of primary concern with this massive development.  The Waterfront project features canals spanning over 42 miles and running throughout the Dubai Waterfront development, bringing many new options of waterfront living to the area.

The Dubai Waterfront, which is scheduled to be several times larger than Beirut and Manhattan, will be the biggest beachfront development in the entire world and the largest manmade development that has ever been created.  The Dubai Waterfront development will even have its own harbor and will feature many entertainment and shopping venues as well as luxury hotels.  With entertaining and unique buildings like the Hydropolis, an underwater hotel, the Dubai Waterfront is sure to become a tourist attraction and top destination with plenty of unique opportunities for things to see and do.  The shoreline area, Madinat Al Arba, will be the focus of the development.  Madinat Al Arab will create a new area of the city and at its center will be Al Burj, one of the tallest buildings in the world.

The Dubai Waterfront will feature unique and high quality architecture and will undoubtedly become a symbol of Dubai’s prosperity and continued evolution into becoming one of the world’s finest destinations.  The Dubai Waterfront will provide plenty of high end and luxury properties, but Nakheel will feature affordable housing as well in order to accommodate all price ranges and budgets.
